Vulva Vibes Collage Workshop

Vulva Vibes: Create Your Own Vulva Collage

A quiet, creative workshop to explore your relationship with your body through art, reflection, and self-expression.

What does your vulva mean to you?

For many of us, our relationship with our bodies and sexuality is complicated. There can be shame, discomfort, expectations, or disconnection. There can also be curiosity, pleasure, confidence, freedom, and softness.

We don't always have the words to express how we feel about our bodies - and sometimes, we don't need words at all.

Vulva Vibes is a small, creative workshop inviting you to explore your relationship with your body through collage, reflection, and art. In a relaxed, welcoming space, you'll have time to slow down, get curious, and create something that feels meaningful to you.

No artistic experience is needed. There's no right way to make your collage, and no expectation to share anything personal.

What to expect

  • A short guided meditation and settling-in exercise

  • Your own canvas paper and a variety of collage materials, colours, textures, and words

  • Time and space to create your vulva collage

  • Gentle reflection prompts to explore your thoughts and feelings

  • Optional sharing in a small group

  • A quiet, welcoming environment with no pressure to make small talk or share personal experiences

Using colourful and high quality papers, fabrics, textures, stickers, images, and words, you'll create your own vulva-inspired collage on canvas paper. Your artwork can be realistic or abstract, delicate or bold, simple or messy. You can make something playful, explore a feeling, express a part of yourself, or simply follow your curiosity.

What might you explore?

Your relationship with your vulva and body is uniquely yours. This workshop offers space to explore whatever feels relevant to you, which might include:

  • Body image and self-acceptance

  • Shame, discomfort, or silence around sexuality

  • Pleasure, sensuality, and freedom

  • Femininity, identity, and self-expression

  • Boundaries, choice, and bodily autonomy

  • Experiences that have shaped how you relate to your body

  • Curiosity about yourself, without needing to arrive at any particular conclusion

You don't need to be struggling with your body or sexuality to participate. You might simply be curious, creative, or interested in trying something different.

A quieter kind of connection

Not everyone enjoys workshops that revolve around introductions, icebreakers, or group discussions. And meaningful experiences don't always require lots of talking.

Vulva Vibes is designed to be welcoming for people who prefer a quieter, more reflective experience. There will be a brief welcome and an optional sharing opportunity, but no forced small talk, no pressure to socialise, and no expectation to disclose personal or sexual experiences.

You can participate quietly, take a break whenever you need one, and decide for yourself what you want to explore and share.

Vulva Vibes, a creative vulva collage workshop in Vancouver

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop welcomes women, trans women, non-binary, Two-Spirit, and other gender-diverse people who have a vulva and feel curious about exploring body connection and self-expression through art.

You don't need to feel any particular way about your body, sexuality, or identity. All experiences are welcome, including uncertainty, mixed feelings, and curiosity.

A note about the workshop

Vulva Vibes is a creative reflection workshop, not a therapy group. You won't be asked to share personal or sexual experiences, and there is no expectation to reach a particular insight or outcome. You decide what your artwork means to you and what, if anything, you wish to share.

No nudity is required, and no previous art experience is necessary. All materials are provided.
